I want
to welcome you to Technology Alignment and the open-source
plus commercial world of Linux and Linux solutions. Each of
you is critical in the success of Technology Alignment's future
and growth in this industry. As we continue to grow and develop
new products and technologies, you're what makes the company.
If you're a new employee, I want to personally congratulate
you on choosing Technology Alignment for your career path
and growth. One thing to remember, I find each of you, regardless
of position at Technology Alignment, a critical factor in
our success from the person who packages and ships products,
the developers who create the products, right to the sales
team. Depending on experience, your training will be remote
or onsite at one of our locations or via Webinars.
Understanding
your position and how you fit in the company is a great way
to start. We've actually created a funnel/pipeline chart that
allows you to understand not only why you are critical in
the success of the company, but why you're the one of a team
who makes the company work.
Technology Alignment
started in my basement in March of 2001 while I was working
on the development of HIATLANTIS in Southern Jersey across
the bridge from Philadelphia, our CRM/Supply Chain Management
tool. The company was incorporated in March of 2002 when we
released our first product. We initially released HIATLANTIS
with Windows servers and workstations. It soon became
apparent that most of our support was going to supporting
Microsoft products and not HIATLANTIS once the installation
was completed. We searched for an alternative with Linux Servers
and found the exciting world of Linux. Of course my son Preston
was also instrumental in choosing Linux as our choice operating
system. We were working with other Linux operating systems
companies for our initial 4 years of business until we decided
our needs, and those of our customers were not being met properly.
This is when Pioneer was born in November of 2006. We moved
from the basement to an official office in 2003.
In 2005
we decided we needed to grow the company and start hiring
many more people to work in the company for an expansion and
moved West. Although Laramie, WY was a great place for Technology
Alignment, we found the need to expand our operations quickly
and the resources were not readily available to reach our
numbers. Our new locations in Norwalk, CT and Nampa, ID. If
you're at one of our regional office locations, you'll have
the same opportunities as at any site. I want to welcome all
new employees to Technology Alignment from either location
and wish you success in building your career. If you're thinking
about joining us, I look forward to meeting each of you personnally
as we expand operations into multiple areas.
In our
6-year history we've been building an excellent ISV partner
and reseller partner base and the ability to grow our company
has come from you, our employees. We are now heading into
new directions including embedded Linux devices, PBX phone
systems, Linux Accounting, SIP trunking for consumer and business,
CRM applications and of course our business routers. Our ISV
partners bring us new and exciting technologies for our end-users
and reseller partners, allowing us to provide not only an
operating system, but a method of delivering a total solution.
I know that each of you is what makes our company, and we've
provided 10% of Technology Alignment stock that is employee
owned. Since I believe each of you makes us what we are, we
divide the dividends on our net profitability equally between
each of you regardless of position. The VP, CEO (myself),
manufacturing, our janitor, and anyone else is provided dividends
equally.
I just
want to personally thank each of you for coming to Technology Alignment
to expand your careers and assist us in our growth. Without
each and everyone of you we would not be expanding or developing
new products.
Remember
also, my door is always open to anyone at Technology Alignment if there
are questions or concerns regarding anything you feel is important.
Sincerely,
Dianne
E. Ursini
